I took a look at their web site

and they must be ashamed of where these things are made. Burma? Yemen? do you know?

They are part of the ARGO (not AGCO) group, which is owned by an Italian. There are two companies, Landini and McCormick International. I was told recently that the owner is engaged to a daughter of the Fiat family (which owns New Holland)...I don't know how true that is.

Made in Doncaster England, they use Perkins and Cummins engines. The company is actually part of the Landini group.

They are made in the old IH plant at Doncaster, UK according to them, they may be made in somewhere else also though.

With the global economy, we get a PR release that
foreign cars are 'made' in our good old states.
Then you discover they are stamping out fenders
in a low income state, shipping in all the major
components from Asia, to assemble here. With all
the MF/Ford tractor parts w/origin Turkey, who
knows what blends together in a McC. How well do they sell, what of parts availability in a decade?
Will Case-NH downsize next year, spinning off this
division? Lots of questions, expensive iron to take a gamble owning. Best of Luck!

Case-New Holland has nothing to do with the McCormick tractor. They are built in the same plant that built the Case IH C and CX series tractors. Those tractors were built by the Landini company just as the McCormick tractors are. Case IH sold their interest in the factory as part of the merger with New Holland.
