we found a old tractor in a barn that the floor caved in on and is covered with old long hay [30]+ years only thing we can see is the front and the words MT VERRON TNN.kind of looks like a old CASE but not sure. any one have a idea?

Can u email pictures of it, any maybe we'll be able to help you identify it. What color is it? Wide front or narrow front end? Get us a good description, and we'll try to help.

we got to dig it out a lot more but when we get it out i'll know more but i did some looking in book last night and think it's a KECK GONNERMAN but will know more when it warms up -12 today

Brian, If you have indeed uncovered a KG, you have found a treasure. Hopefully the barn falling down around it hasn't done any major damage. If it is all there, it is restorable. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Keck Gonnerman's were from Mt. Vernon, Indiana. I would assume that what you have found is a steam engine, and not a gas tractor. KGs were built until 1930. The next to the last one bulit lives about 10 miles from my house. Brave the elements and start digging. I'd like to hear more about your find. What part of the world are you from?

keck-gonnerman built some I think 3 models of gas tractors and there is a reunion every year at the posey county, ind fairgrounds
