Might be wise not to try to scam the scammers. Our Govt might take a dim view of "taking advantage" of those poor, impoverished Nigerians.

There are a few really good rules to remember. "A fool and his money are soon parted." "If if sounds too good to be true it usually is.""Greed is the root of all evil." New laws to "protect" us? heavens NO! Common sense is so rare nowdays it should be called uncommon sense.

Hello Everyone, The internet has generated a whole world of individuals that are trying to get our hard earn money. I use to receive a lot of the Nigerian scam emails. I then found out about a group that has a great deal of good fun dealing with them. It's the latest sport to attempt to scam the scammer into sending you money. Currently the highest amount, that I know, was ten British pounds (Around 25 dollars) received by a guy in London.
Check out some of the sites that deal in them and other scams and then have some fun. Enter Nigerian Scam for a starting point.
My two cents worth.
Joe

We are supposedly an educated people, at least my school tax tells me we should be. We shouldn't need to have a law for every cotton-pickin scam that comes down the pike. If we would just use some of that knowledge and mix it with some good old horse sense then we could get along without so darned many laws. I believe there is hardly anything I can do anymore without breaking some law. If a person had a little time and a little deviousness in him I think he/she could have some fun with this. With all that talent out there someone should be able to conger up a good way to turn the tables on these scoundrels. Just another viewpoint.

That's one of about a thousand different ones. I get this one every few days, from some guy that claims to be in England, who "Just loves" my plow, tractor, mower, ect whatever I have listed. He wants to send me a check, and have his "business partner" pick up the item I'm selling, after I forward money to an unknown person, to handle shipping the item to England. Why in the world would ANYONE want to spend HUNDREDS of dollars to ship a $300 item to a place that has as many old plows as the United States. Do these people ever fool anyone? Why isn't there a law..... ..... .... Just delete 'em and go on with your day. John

John,
There will be a crackdown and law after someone of importance gets burned by one of these scammers. At least that is the way it has historically worked in the good ole USA.
