How much more effective is the c vs.the h when it comes to plowing 10 acres, moving snow, and general farm work, maybe some pulling?I have an h model available and also a c.

Carlton Its just my personal feeling, as I grew up driving an H Farmall (which is still in the family) But I feel that it is among the best and most popular tractors ever built.

Aside from the touch control hydraulics on the "C" which does make it a very versitile tractor, it cannot match the "H" as far as its ability to do some heavy work. The "H" is just a beefier tractor which will handle 10 acre nicely. my choice in your situation would definitely be an "H".

I would go with the H, more power, weight, and just a better tractor as far as I am concerned.
