There has been comments on if a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor is good enough for use around the place. I put mine to work no problem best 2,500.00 investment I ever made. I could carry more then 1,800 lbs but would need more than the 200 lb counter weight on the front. The forks weigh another 200 lbs so that is a ton on the back end. Mark H.

I think the horns are holding it up. Mother natures bale spears.

They sure are a tough breed of Cows. They also clean our pastures of about anything that grows, great for fire season protection. We have 5 of them in the herd and several more coming in the spring they are all girls but the Bull, no steers yet. Mark H.

Willy, Are those young long horns or another breed? Another question, do they have a place to get in out of the weather? I have heard that some folks out west don't provide shelter for the animals and they seem to do ok, is that the way it is or no? Mine sure like the shed when it's cold out, I can't imagine they'd be ok without it. Just curious as to how others do it.

These guys have it made! This is there Barn they can go in. They have a long manger just inside the open door the full length of the barn. The hay is stored in the rest of it along with my Wife & Daughters horses. We have Longhorns and Scottish Highlands along with Angus Cross. The closest one is a longhorn behind it is a Highland. A lot of people out here leave them out all year with out shelter but we like to give them shelter if they want to use it. The Highlands have lots of hair and do real well in the winter no problem. They get mad if you don't give it to them. They can flip the bale off the forks if they want to with there horns. Mark H.
