The lettered two cylinder Deeres in particular we built to plow all day while running on the cheapest stuff oil refineries would sell. The small dia, long heated ports make low rpm torque and burn oil in a low compression spark ignition engine. High rpm$ and HP co$t bucks to radically modify an engine design.

27.6hp gas stock with a 4.69 engine

24.6 drawbar hp and kerosene is about 21.1hp probably double that with good parts

hope that helps.

you can stroke and bore it and use alum. pistons, longer rods and put a fabed cast iron spacer between the block and the crank housing. upgrade clutch discs for more pulling torque.

but i think 60-70 should be possible with all that but you might have to spend spend some $$$$.

i got 80 drawbhp out of a G but i think they'll hit 100 stroked with $6000 in it.
