I bought one form the photo ad section. Was a good experience and dealt with an excellent fella. Would not hesitate to buy from him or sell something on this site.

Here is a link to the archived ad.

I bought 1 and sold 2 using this website.I'll never buy another one without seeing and driving it first.I couldn' rip someone off because I'm not that way but I got ripped when I bought mine over the internet.

I've never sold anything but did buy a set of piston rings for my SC last summer. Oh yeah, I almost forgot that I also bought a sign. And I've made inquiries on a number of other items. Never had a bad experience. Sometimes people don't respond quickly which puzzles me. Maybe I like to BS too much but I've found for the most part that the people are friendly and great.

Bought 8 tractors this year; fixed them a bit & sold 6 of them. Bought 2 from YT ads, one on computer auction &5 locally. Sold two via YT ads, three by computer auction and one locally. Two to sell -I like YT. Have noticed a lot of junkers being dragged out of scrapheap & listed at top dollar recently. First tractor I bought from YT ad was from a real honest gentleman, a real credit to this or any forum. The two I sold via YT ads- both buyers commented tractors were as described, not disappointed. Distance & hauling biggest problem.

I have sold one tractor, and bought one tractor using this site's for sale section. I have had a good experience with both transactions.

Have had a lot of emails, good questions, and realistic comments. Other than some scam artist in Africa, I have found everyone of my contacts via this site to be fair, if not a bit talkative.
Good luck to you with your future ads.

Jim,

I think the tractors that sell are the ones priced to sell. If a seller is looking to get top dollar in today's economy he will wait a long time for that perfect buyer.

I have bought two tractors this year off the ads, but all the good stuff is up north. So I've had pretty good luck I guess.

Jim,
I can understand what you are saying. I visit the photo ads and the classified ads most every day. I have seen that I would have liked to call on but most of what I was interested in is a long way from NW Montana and freight sure adds to the price. I finally found a tractor but I was still 520 miles away.
Have a jd 2010 for sale and never heard the phone ring.
Bud

It all depends on what it is, and the asking price. I've put a few things on, and never got so much as a nibble, another item I put on made me wish that I would have had about ten of them. I had four serious inquirys, and a couple of mildly interested ones.
