A 3000Ford sold for $3450 it had a front end loader, A Case 930 with loader went for $900 and a Gallion road roller went for $120 and I think I got a very good buy for my $120, has the starter I need for my Cletrac HG plus a lot of other neat parts. I also got a Mig welder 110volt type for $5 and that was with a roll of wire that had a price tag on it that said $6.49 so I guess I got the welder for free. So what do you guys think ??
Did I do good??

Even the junkier stuff around here goes higher than that. The only things that cheap are usually broken and for obvious parts.

If your worried about your wife finding out about what you bought I will bring the Freightliner and the dropdeck over. We can load up a couple of your things that I will "borrow". Then we can run over to the auction and pick up your stuff and bring it all back home. Do you think she will noticed the bigger load coming back?

Someday maybe a Peterbilt 379EXHD but for right now the old FLD12064ST will have to do. Like they say its what's under the hood that counts.

I'll be back there tomorrow with a battery just to see if the roller will start up for me, if it does I may just get brave and try to drive it home. It might just help the gravel road and my drive way. LOL

Hey "old" I went to that auction too. Unfortunately I didn't see much worth carrying home. Both of those tractors were pretty rough. I liked the guy best who past up the 4 wheeler choice of (2) at 375 and then bid up the last one to 410..... ....Over here in Richland we're accustomed to a better class of junk.....ha ha

Well now I know what the 4 wheelers went for I never even try to buy them they always bring to much. I got the road roller just for the starter and figure the reast of the parts are gravy, I already know some one that wants the front and back roller out of it.

You got shafted man, those Road Rollers usually go for about $11 and the mig welding machines, well the seller usually has to pay someone to carry them off. You better not tell your wife how much you spent, you're gonna be one sorry guy if you do.

Its not one of them small one this is one of those big machines weights around 15,000 lbs has a 6 cylinder engine hydrolics etc. The vickers vane pump is worth the $120 I payed for this machine

If nothing else I'll get it running and drive it home about 5 miles. But I also have a friend that owns a low boy and a big rig to move it for me
