NF What I am referring to is at the very front of tractor you will see Rumely in raised letters. Under that is a loop that you can hook on to, below that is a inverted ball shape or depresion perhaps to hold a wagon tongue. Look for a flat spot on the edge of the depresion. this tractor is probably a model L 15-25 hp or a model M 20-35 hp built 1924-27. 4,855 model L were made and 3,671 model M were made. My Rumely is a model X 25-40 hp which was converted from a model M. Dad bought it in 1963. Philip

NF, I think you have a light wieght or a super powered. There are three places to look for S/N. First place to look is on rocker arm cover this plate may be missing. Next spot is in front above the loop and depresion. next place is by the steering wheel rod, you may Have a foot pedal for locking your diferential by it. also the engine has one near the cover plate by the water tank. Look for S/N to start with a L-M-R or an S for a light wieght or a W-X-Y or Z if it is a super powered do a search for rumely you can find a site that list S/N. Philip

I think i made a mistake with the front S/N. It may be under the depresion. Look for a flat spot in that location. My rumely is in another state so i can't look to be sure.Philip
