Well guys I have a couple problems, 1 I don't know which one to start on first.
I have three tractor that need TLC a 35 JD-B, a cletrac HG and now a farmall F12. I'm not sure which one to work on first, I hope to have them all running by spring. Also need to know where in my shop to put my bed, I think my wife is getting upset about all my tractors, The F12 is number 9. What do you guys think do I have enough tractors yet, and can I get them all running by spring Thaks for your in site

Yea, I resemble that. I just got two free tractors and just purchased two more all of which are not running. Still looking for more even though I don't know when I will get to these. It's that classic tractor fever I guess. Don't seem to be a cure. Each time (almost)I sell one I give my wife part of the money, so she has quit complaining (almost).

Garry , they never quit complaining . They seem to always find something unsatisfactory to them . Mine finally left after 33 yrs. Now her new guy can listen to her nagging . The single life isn't that bad once you adjust . Good luck !

I would start on the F 12. but I am a farmall man,,,I have roughly 10 tractors, with a couple for sale (Oliver 66, McCormick W4, Farmall Super C) We built a 36x62 pole barn this year to house them in and with extra room for working on them,,,,Good luck,,,Jim

I have 6 row crop tractors now, and 4 of them are squeezed into a standard 2-car garage. My wife has enough room to walk past to get into the house, so she's content.

My priorities would be: 1) F12 2) Cletrac 3) John Deere.

If you are short on room in your shop start on the one that you can get finished the quickest. If you have enough room start working on all three of them. Nine tractors doesn't sound like enough to me. You should try and find a few more if you can. We have 12 right now and sometimes that isn't enough. My wife is a really good sport about this but just the same I have a good pillow and some blankets in the sleeper on my truck.

I must have a really good wife. I also have 9 tractors now and she tells me to get more if I want them. She would like for me to get an Oliver or Hart Parr next. She goes with me to all the shows and drives the tractors when we get there. We have been together for 27 years so I think it might work out. If I could get her to work on them a little it would help. I need to get I think I hear her comming. Good luck Fred.

First off, there's no such thing as too many tractors. I have a 460 and a 560, and one day I was going to a sale and told my wife I might buy another tractor, she said "you already have two, why do you need another one?" I replied "because I don't have three". That caused her to stop and ponder what I had said long enough for my escape. doorguy

Start on the HG. By the time you have it together, maybe she'll forget about the dog.

Well I've had the HG running and I even drove it about 100 yards before it stalled then burned out the rigged starter, so now I'm on the look out for a starter before I can do much more to it. I just spent around $550 on the JD-B for a carb and tune up parts. And the F12 won't be here at the house till sunday after noon.

I bought an old 19' Travel trailer, for those occasions when I'm banished. Makes a real comfortable dog house. I plug it in, and have electricity and everything.

Try and get enough so that one more won't be noticed.

I agree, if you only have 2 or 3, then one more is 33 0/0 more, but if you have 15 or 20 she won't notice. Women are like a cranky electrical system....it's all in the wiring!!! Besides, I've found out that it's ALWAYS easier to be forgiven than it is to get permission. If you don't believe that, just ask your wife if you can go out with the boys, get drunk and try to pick up pretty girls!!!! Larry
