Does anyone know anything about an MF 40 and know of a location with one pictured? Also, what is the HP rating on the MF 40 and an MF 35.

Thanks!

The MF40 is an industrial tractor & it has 42 PTO HP. The MF35 with a diesel engine has 37 PTO HP. with the gas engine they have 33 or 35 it depends on who you ask. my book shows 33 HP for them.

Thanks Dean. When I decide which I purchase I will order your CD.

One other question - Other than being newer, is their a major difference/benefit to an MF 135 versus an MF 35 (assuming both are in comparable condition).

Thanks again for the info.

The MF135 Special has the same gas engine the Continental Z134. The MF135 Deluxe has either the Continental Z145 or the Perkins AG3-152 gas engine. They have a little more HP than the Z134 has but I cannot tell you what the HP. is for sure the book I have does not give those. MF135 has quite a bit more traction than the MF35 has.
