Hi!
I´m trying to compare tractors in order to find something suitable and affordable for me and my small farm. And I find it hard to dig up basic information regarding tractors from around the early eighties. (to old for the manufacturers to show any info on their web sites and not old enough for these kind of enthusiast sites.

Is there anyone out there who can share some good links ??

Best bet is to look at the tractors that wer continuations for the late 70's models. A lot of variance in the durability of the platforms. There are a lot of us in here who use these vintage tractors every day.

That was kinda a bad time for tractors - new gizmos added not totally understood by the manufaturers; farm bankrupt problems led to few sales, and dealer & manufaturer consolodation led to poor parts management/ supply of low-volume sales.

Do a lot of research.

Have you tried "Todays Tractors" on this site?

Try www.tractortips.comm/ They have listings that include years produced, weight, power, (some) engine specs, original pricing and options.
