Have a MF135 3 cyl gas perkins. With 3 point up or down and tractor running in or out of gear and clutch out I sometimes hear a knocking around trans/gear shifts. When I push clutch all the way down it stops. Any ideas?

I have the same Tractor and the pump will knock when I am lifting around 1,800 lbs on my rear Fork Lift attachment hooked to the 3-Point. Never knocks any other time tho. Mark H.

one of the hitch levers (i don't remember which) is in 'contant pumping' (stamped on the quadrant).

sounds like a loose bearing some where in that area this is just a guess but it sounds like that could be the problem or you have something loose in side
