many posters on this board post their problems, and others give them advice/ suggestions/ ideas as to how to correct the problems. however not all of the original posters go to the trouble of poting how the problem was finally solved (if it was...).
posting about how the problems were solved will teach the forum readers much more about problem solving, and the ones that gave the correct solutions will have some satisfaction...
thanks

I agree. Common courtesy is not common these days. I have a considerable number of parts manuals and use to spend a lot of time cross-referring to new part numbers. A few days ago I wrote the last post I am going to make on how the Case eagle hitch control block valves work. Sour grapes, maybe? I see few other regulars responding to these posts. I get the impression that I am the only one stupid enough waste time on them. Joe

I appreciate the help others have given me over the this board, and usually post my solution & thanks - problem is, that if several days pass before the problem is solved, the origional post is either burried way down, or even fallen off the bottom of the board. In that case, it would be nice to start a new thread on the old problem!

I agree 100%. Not only that, when somebody offers a suggestion or a solution, it only seems common courtesy to thank or at least acknowledge that person who went to the trouble of sharing an answer. Some people even look up a reference and post a link. They should get special thanks.

Absolutely correct. I had a problem that someone solved for me and I rewarded them with a brand new AC hat. Knowing how a given problem is resolved is as important as all of the advice everyone gives

I agree, we can all learn from knowing how the problem was solved.
