what years were the ford 2000 series gas tractors made... any help would be a great help...thanks...

Ford used the "2000" series identifier from 1962 to sometime in the 70's. However, that's misleading because the '62-'64 2000 Fords were completely different machines from the later "square" Fords. I assume you're talking about the early 2000 that came with 4 cylinder engines. The later ones had a 3 cylinder engine. Either early or late version were available in gas or diesel. The early version (4 cylinder) had sheetmetal that closely resembled the earlier 601 series except the color went from red to blue.
