I would like to try my hand at fabricating a steam whistle like on the old steam engines.Does anyone know how to make one or have a diagram as to how to make one??Want to hook them up to my air supply and wake up the valley.I also like the sound of them.

Be aware that steam whistles run on compressed air do not sound the same as when run on steam, due to the differences in the density of the two mediums. If your references give dimmensions for "air" steam whistles, you're in luck!

Go to a site called The Voice of the Iron Horse (steamwhistles.com). Interesting, and has some information you might find helpful.
