Have a 1950 TO-20 Ferguson that needs a new distributor breaker plate. All info that I have gathered indicates that the plate is no longer available and the only way to replace it is to install a new distributor assy.

Any suggestions or sources of this part?

Tom, I have some new old stock dist. breaker plates for Autolite and some other brands of distributors in the Niehoff replacement brand. Would need to know the numbers off your dist. to see if I have any that would match up.

What brand distributor did they use on them? Are there any tags with numbers on it?

Are you saying there is no plate at present or the plate is broken in some way? If it is broken, then fixing it may be an alternative. Or get a distributor off a scrap engine and either fit that or use the plate on your dist. There are plenty available in UK where the distributor was used on car engines as well.
