ON MY '52 CUB, WHAT FLUIDS ARE USED ON, HYDRAULICS, TRANSMISSION AND GEAR LUBE?? I HAVE SOMETIMES INTERCHANGED HYDRAULIC AND TRANSMISSION FLUID WHEN ONE WAS NOT ON HAND. BAD IDEA ???? IS THE PTO GEAR TO RUN THE BELLYMOUNT MOWER A "GEAR" ???. THANKS

You can use IH Hy-tran fluid in all of the above. However I prefer 80-90 wt. gear lube in the transmission and drop axles. You can also use non-detergent oil in the hydraulics if you want. The pto is connected to the drive shaft by a sliding splined collar.

And if it is the 90 degree PTO gear box it too takes 90 weitht. Drain, level and fill plugs in it.
