Belarus 250AS runs and quits maybe fuel pump

Tractor cranks up and runs for a little then if put under load it will slowly
stop. Seems to not have much power. Have cleaned and replaced fuel filters
and cleared air from lines. Im not sure if the pump is up to proper pressure.
I haven't checked injector nozzles but maybe they are fine.
Im thinking it might be the fuel pump but don't know.
I have plenty of compresson but not lot of power for some reason.
I have noticed over the past 3 months the power started to go down a bit and
now its to this point of running for a bit and then quits.
Think its the fuel pump? What else could it be?

Jack, It may not be your fuel pump. First you should remove your primary pump from the main fuel pump and take it apart, clean all of the componants. look at the plastic poppit valves that are installed under the two plugs on the bottom of the primary pump. If they are chipped or distorted in any way replace them. Another area to look at is the fuel bypass valve located on the engine side of the fuel pump. It is contained in the lower pipe that your fuel lines attach to. You will need to unscrew it from the pump and clean it. Then reinstall all of the componants and try the tractor. The only other possibility would be a leak that is allowing air to enter the system. If you try all this and still have the problem then suspect your fuel pump.

If it has a rubber line on the fuel system somewhere that might be bad,sometimes they go bad on the inside and you cant see it.On the side of the pump that comes from the tank it might have a loose connection,pump could have some loose bolts in the housing?I know it doesnt take much for my Cummins to loose power and after a couple of weeks looking for stuff wrong I found a looose fuel line where it draws from the tank,it wasnt leaking or anything,but when I put a wrench on it it was loose,and it wouldnt hardly start,low power,tightened up the fitting and it fixed it.
