I saw an ad last night in the Market Bulliten. The guy wanted to trade a 1992 Ford truck for a 4 wheeler. The reason for getting rid of the truck was for health reason. I wandered what kind of health reason would that be unless he needed more excerise.

I was wondering if anyone would come up with that one :) I have owned almost all brands of vehicles, and spent a higher amount of time working on Fords than most other brands. Just my experience though.

I had an accident recently and broke a vertebrae in my lower back. After I was slightly mobile again the only way I could get around any distance was with my four wheeler. I used it at the threshing shows or I would have missed them this year.

Had an older gent down the road closer to town that couldn't drive anymore so he used to drive his snowblower to the local bar in the winter.

My neighbor is selling one of his tractors because he can't get up onto it any more. Poor guy is about 85 and can't even stand up straight. Might be a situation such as that.

Maybe he bought more truck than he could afford, and his wife is threatening him with great bodily harm if he doesn't get out from under the debt of it.

Hm, a truck, or a quivering, shaking, pile of body mass?

I dont know but he may have the 4 wheeler fever. Only way to cure it is to buy one. Or he was tired of mowing the grass with a push mower and needed a 4 wheeler to drag around a reel mower.

lol, thats a good one, of course i suppose he could be wanting a 4 wheeler for his son or something like that, but yea it doesnt sound right to me. its like the people ya see selling "grandfathers 8N, bought new and used lightly on the farm since new", i usualy believe it when they post the first add, but after they have used that same line to sell a dozen different tractors ya start to wonder

I've had several things I needed to get rid of for health reasons- I was just plain sick of 'em.
