We were the last hold-outs. No cable, no satelite tv. Finally got tired of watching Judge Judy all the time. I broke down and got Dish network service 4 months ago. The first channel that I got addicted to is RFD-TV. The U.S.Farm Report, AG PHD, Georgia Farm Monitor, and all the antique tractor shows. Oh the antique tractor shows. Does anyone else have this channel? Tuesday night is THE night for the best viewing. (Channel 9409, on Dish network)

I watch RFDTV and enjoy their tractor shows as well as some of the other shows. The tractor shows started to get old since they were constant reruns.Like some of the others,I got tired of Big Bud 747 and others.RFDTV has changed their shows here resently and added some,I belive it is called Machinery from the Past or something like that. You can e-mail them and make your comments about their shows and suggest that they use newer shows. You can also send them some tapes of your clubs shows or other tapes, they said one time they would like these to be sent,I,d send copies .Still all in all it is a good show.

I think the RFD-TV was worth the headache that I went through with DirecTV. Granted the singing shows are of no interest to me, most of the horse shows have useless information, and the all day cattle auctions are good for naps, I do enjoy the tractor shows and I love "Campfire Cafe". The first time I watched "Campfire Cafe" Nix was cooking up some White Chili and I flat forgot to write the recipe down, and I havent seen that one in reruns yet.

Good TV if they would cut back on horse shows and get rid of Big Joe. I can't belive anyone on this planet likes the Big Joe polka show. Has to be the worst program I have ever seen.

TY, I'm with you on the big Joe Polka show. I didn't believe anyone would watch it either, but I guess I'm wrong. I think I've been wrong once before also (LOL).

Ty, I happen to like that kind of music & I know a lot of others do too, so if you don't, change the DAMN channel when Joe's on

Hey Roger, I like polkas too but I could do without Big Joe. His ego is as big as he is. Just what are his qualifications for being a show host.
Is he a has been polka band leader? Ed

There's no accounting for taste. I like to watch Big Joe just to see some of them people jumping around, thinking they're dancing, and with no concept of even keeping time to the music. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I'm built something like Big Joe but not quite that soft. I don't think he could keep up with me working up firewood ";^)
Sure beats MTV and 99.9% of the network TV shows.

Yep, neat channel. Wish they would update a few more tractor shows. Sure are a lot of horse shows!

Direct TV had a "farm channel" that had stuff like that on it a few years ago, then took it off. I'll check and see if they snuck it back in.

I have had RFD-TV for several years now, in the beginning I was totally glued to the tv, watching all of those classic tractor shows, that lasted for about 6 months, and I realized that I had seen all of them, and all that was on was was reruns. It seems they have a small collection of these shows, and just run them over and over. Isn't anyone making new shows?
I very rarely even tune in to RFD-TV anymore.

We have it here and I got hooked on the tractor shows, too. But alas, they don't seem to have any new shows and as much as love the old tractors -- especially those Olivers -- you can watch the same show only so many times.

I agree. I like the tractor shows but have seen most of them several times. I think I have seen that Big Bud 747 show about a zillion times.
