A prayer if you will for those who perished and their family members for whom today will be a day of great sorrow.

"GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!"

And also prayers for those who continue the fight. One good thing about 9-11 is that a few more people are thinking about their fellow man. Today my brother leaves for Afganistan.

And let us not forget we still have unfinished business as far as getting the terrorists. We fight them over there or we will be fighting them here for sure, not just maybe. Hats off to the armed forces guys and girls. I salute you. Many thanks if any of you are reading this.

Hi, Folks. I was privileged today to be able to listen to a tribute to 9-11 and all who were involved in it (except the culprits). This tribute was a compilation of dozens upon dozens of bits and pieces of interviews, news items, extracts from speeches by various people and other items related to 9-11 and its aftermath. It was put together spontaneously this morning by Australia's leading talk-back radio host, John Laws, at the start of his radio program today and was, he said, entirely unscripted.

Scripted or not, it was a wonderful effort and I for one was reminded of many of the little things that came out on the day and in the days following.

I think there would be many Australians who would have paused for a moment or two today and thought back to those acts of sheer, unadulterated barbarism and the acts of courage and heroism, both individual and collective, that arose from them. I know I did.

May God bless all who love their fellow humans and may He help those who don't love their fellow humans learn to do so.

You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

The people that planned and carried out the horrible events of Sept. 11th, sought to destroy the United States, and what it stands for. Boy did they ever mis-judge us. All they really accomplished was to streghthen the resolve , and pull us together. The "image" that they tried to destroy is not something that we Americans can lay claim to. It belongs to all decent and free people in the world. What happened in the days since, is the rest of the world had to come to grips with the nature of the "enemy" that we ALL have to defeat. Through terrible disasters like this, we get to see first hand, just how much love and commpassion there is in the world. With that in mind, I would think that the low-life trash that carried this out, failed miserabley in their attemt to destroy freedom. God Bless America. God Bless all of our friends and allies. God help our enemies, they'll need it before all of this is over.

You would think these fanatics would keep World War 2 in mind before they act. America has always been a target because we are tolerant of all peoples and don't hesitate to help out the underdog. But we carry a big stick, and we'll use it. And a big THANK YOU goes to Australia, Deas Plant, without you WW2 would have been much, much worse than it was.
