Driving to help my son move this morning, missed my turn, so I kept going, stopped at a rest stop and this guy has a Farmall Cub and a Massey Harris Pony on a trailer, he was moving it east to Idaho. I talked to him for abit, and before you know it, I was the new owner of a Pony, been looking for one for a long time. It needs a carb and a rebuild on the steering box. All the sheetmetal is there, and very good condition, tires not too bad... picked it up for $925. Will bring her home in a couple of weeks. I guess the wrong turn and the rest stop was Divine intervention, and I just had to buy the tractor.

Don't you hate when that happen's? A wrong turn, on a recent "road trip" with the wife, and dog, bagged me a nice JD7720 combine! 1400 miles from home! I was REAL popular with the wife.....The dog loved the experience!

I'm always on the lookout for old iron and have bought a couple myself by getting lost. Not using a map or paying attention to your turns can result in some great finds. congrats on the pony

I just got back from playing music for a wedding reception in a restored 200+ year old barn. The first thing I saw when we walked into the barn was a Super A with a nice cutterbar mower onnit. Unfortunately, it was not for sale.

Well Dave it sounds to me like you needed something to do for a project this winter. Good luck on the restoration, and congrats on your purchase.
