My error.Brotherinlaw(non-computer)is looking for a downdraft carb for a continental f6-209,six cyl. Any info appreciated.Thanks.

It probably will be better if the gas goes the right direction. LOL Got your emails, thanks.

The other end of the crane has one of those, but that engine's still working so the carb isn't available.

I just hope y'all never have to deal with Continental. They were most unhelpful and seemed to resent my asking. I swapped it out for a Ford.

I saw yesterdays post, I know many tractors had Continental engines in them, Massey Harris used the F226 in their 101Sr and 44-6, what tractor used that small of one????

How about a small ford,6 cyl. 200 cc. Any carb. that fits the base bolt pattern and can be gassed and linked . Make a .base gasket and match the pattern , should work.

It's in a forklift, but we were told a tractor moght be a place to look.Might not be the Case. My brotherinlaw is the mechanic I'm just helping him search. Thanks
