which has more power a farmall H or a allis chalmers CA?

They both have about 26 hp. The H is about 700 lbs heavier than the CA. So, The H could pull more. But the CA would have 1 hp per 100 lbs of tractor and the H would have 1 hp per 126.9 lbs of tractor.

Defiately the H. In fact I think the Farmall C would outpull the C Allis.

A Farmall C would be a VERY close match to an Allis CA. As a matter of fact a guy I know who is a Farmall nut believes that a CA might make a IH C look silly when it comes to power and pulling.

I wuold say they are equal.

Your absolutly right. The WD will have more power than an H. But I was responding to the origional question s to if/or a CA and an H had same or diff hp, and so I answered. i would rather assume he has his eye on the two and wants to know the hp diff n them It would do not much good to enterjecrt the capabilities of the WC or WD, good tractors both, althogh my older brother got killed underneith a WC
