the last IH tractors that were gas were the 66 and 74 series . their production run ended in the summer of 1976 . I have some sale catalouges for massey ferguson from 1979 they list the 230 and 245 as having gas engines thats about all i can find in the information that i have

There was a M-M G1000 vista which had a 504 cid gasoline engine with 110hp. The biggest John Deere gasser was the 4230 with 100hp and a gas engine. I know there were gas 856 Farmalls (100hp) and 93hp gasoline AC 190xts. I THINK that the biggest CASE with a gasser was the 970 and Oliver's was likely the 1850.

If your replying about the G1000 yes they did make a gas G1000. It was made from 1965 to 1968 only a row crop model was offerd vista was only LP or Diesal. I have a 1965 Diesal.

JD70Jim, I would like to see a G 1000 MM gas, if you can show me one you would have a very rare tractor since ther was NO SUCH THING, only diesel & LP. Get your facts straight !!!!

Probably not the latest, or biggest, but IH had the 766 Gas till 1976. I believe Deere was in there as long, with an even bigger tractor.

John Deere offered a gas version of both the 4230 and the 4030---for about the first six-eight months of production, and then discontinued gasoline production in 1973.

Gasoline, natural gas or LP? Mother Deere does make some natural gas engines for industrial use.
