I have a blade that was left here when I bought the house. It is 6 ft long and about 2 ft tall. Model # ST 72, Part # 9157. It has a chain on the top and it has two round pieces built on the blade, I would say for mounting points. It has triangle pieces on the bottom of the blade that look like places you would put feet into.I can't make out the brand but it begins with an M. I thought it was a Meyers snow plow blade but was told it could also be a tractor blade. Anyone got any answers. I've been researching but have not come across this model or part # yet. Thank you

Does it have springs on the back from the top to the mount?

No, there are no springs at all.

If you can take a good digital photo of it, post it in the "Help Identify" section at the left under Galleries. Somebody may recognize it.

I'll do as you suggest. A picture is worth a thousand words.
