Remove the pistons.
Seriously, if only just stuck, then a soaking will probably do - but it is always better to remove the pistons and check for stuck rings if its anymore than this.
I have removed pistons using a sledge hammer! No problem, remove sump, remove big end shells and that will give a couple of mm to thump the piston (using a hard wooden block between hammer and piston, of course)just to crack the rust joint. You then need to clean, soak, move, until piston can be moved enough to at least clear the crankshaft journal. You can then replace the shells and cap and turn engine to loosen further or just knock piston out (using wood blocks)on the rod, being careful not to damage any surfaces.
If every thing is stuck really tight it just complicates matters - remove engine, remove main bearings, (crank if possible), then get to the pistons.....
Have fun and try not to break anything,
regards, RAB

depends how it is stuck I use transmission fluid in cylinders let it set for a few days then try turning it over with big socket on crank nut has worked 3 times so far.
