I don't want you to feel bad but we have had almost 3/4" in the past couple hours. But it has been real spotty. Sure will kick start the second crop hay and the lawns

Dave --- you must live on the wrong side of Minnesota --- us in the Banana Belt have lots of rain ... I just wish it would stop for a while.

Ya didn't have to tell me THAT. ;( I had my hopes up. Weather radar looks like rain headed our way (Central Ky) According to NOA Composite loop, we are in store for .2" to .3", but it looks to be fading away before it gets here. They're calling for more tomorrow but I won't believe it 'till I see it.

Starting to see burnt areas in highway medians where fires have started from cigarettes thrown out of cars. And the dry months aren't even here yet.

Montgomery county is getting dry to. I watched rain go on both sides of me for 5 years, when I lived just north of Cynthiana. Looked like a God forsaken desert there most of the summer. We still have 150 acres in Harrison county and going to have to start feeding hay pretty soon if it don't rain. I had 2 inches a couple weeks ago here in Montgomery and not one drop in Harrison. Better chance for rain tomorrow they claim.

The "rain" (if you want to call it that) managed to fall hard enough at one point I ALMOST had to turn on my windshield wipers. What a downpour! Weatherguessers on TV called it a trace. I called it a joke.

Hoping that tomorrows 60% chance of showers ends up with enough to settle the dust on my driveway at least.

I'm in eastern Bullitt County and on into Spencer county.

I have been to Bullit county some. I was stationed at FT Knox when I was in the army for 2 years. We came through Shepardsville to go to Hayes Flats and played war games on the river.

I'm about 12 miles east of Sheperdsville, near Mt Washington. 60 years here and this is the driest I've ever seen it this early in the year.
