Hello,
I have just purchased an URSUS C335 and I am in a desperate need for a manual as well as any other info available on tunning, specs etc.
Anybody familiar with this tractor?

Ursus, I have an Ursus tractor (not sure of model) I am trying to take off a flat front wheel in a 4 x 4 model. Do i need to remove the pins from the wheel shaft? Does anyone know of an online manual for the Ursus tractor? Cheers
Paul

We here in India have a strong supporter base for C 335 ( rechristned as Escort 335 ) The Tractor is generally called Chitta (White) in local parlance owing to its standard white bonnet/Mudguard colour. It is slow, but strong at low RPMs, it is numero uno in Trailer jobs. The finest point is its gearbox which never give any trouble despite rough use. Spare parts are so cheap and simple that even a local mechanic can fix any problem easily. Indeed, the rear wheel reductions start giving problems after a prolonged use, that too just mis pitched noise of reduction cogs and ever leaking oil seals. In earlier models the lift lever was tricky but after 1980 onwards an automatic hydrulic lift came as a standard fitment. I am using a 1981 335 at my farm in western India ( just 100 kms from Delhi ) and it is still going strong. We can arrange any manual book from any authorised dealer whenever you ask for.
