Someone told me about a place that sold imported tractor tires cheap. anybody know where that is,I can't remember. could have been korean or russian who knows.

There was a fellow posting reasonable tires on E-bay. Yes, here is the link. This page should have his e-mail address or web site listed.

I e-mailed him about tires for my Farmall A, they were pretty reasonable.

I have sold imported tires for 40 yr.I sell Firestone Goodyear and BF Goodrich tires and half of those are made in other countries. Most all the Goodrich are made in Poland. Some of the Firestone and Goodyear made in India and Brazil.I can buy a eight ply tire in a import from India, China or Yugoslavia for less than a four ply USA is sold and for half of the price of a eight ply tire made in the USA. Have sold thousands with no problems at all. Would like to buy American and do but for cost versus return the imports have taken over a good portion of the tire business. Them fellers whining about where tires come from got my curiosity up so I went to the shed and did a info look-see.

I have Good Year from Canada
Goodrich from Poland
Cambridge from Poland
Euzada from Mexico
Agrico from Mexico

National was the only tractor tires I have from USA plants,
and is the sorriest set of tires in the collection here.

Maybe the tires from 3rd world countries are better than home grown tires cause them folks don't get to set around all day cussin politicians and having prayer meetings on-line. They're just simply way too busy making good tires to chat politics & religion.

In some cases thats all you can find.My F14 on rubber has brand new 40" tires on it,only two people carry them that I know of,Miller and another guy that travels the shows.Both have the same tire,made in Pakistan I think!

Cheap tires may make the difference between sitting in a fence row rusting and actually being useful.I can't always shell out 400$ for one tire,I always try to find used tires for antique tractors but that is not always an option.And besides, a tractor that sits in someones driveway in town as a conversation piece or as a status symbol doesn't need good tires they just need to hold air and look good. If the tractor is a working tractor,I'd probably go with better tires. You would'nt put a $700 set of eagle GT+4 good year tires on a VW bus or a set of 14 ply steel radial truck tires on a datsun would you?I just mean some tractors do not need the best.

Some how I just cant see the good looking John Deere/Farmall with the cheap imported tires on it. It is your friends and neighbors jobs you are helping take away by buying all this foreign made stuff. And this is the same guys who puts the American flag on his tractor and also displays it at his house on the 4 of July. This is really sad, no wonder this country is in the shape it is. Stop and THINK where your money is going and what country it is supporting. Dont we as Americians want to support and take care of our own people first?

This talk about buying foreign.Check out all the chinese sh!t at Wal-Mart ,Check their sources. I'm glad Sam Walton is dead,He'd cry if he could see his little stores now.And if you really want to get down to the nitty gritty here check where most Ford,IH/Case,AGCO,And OH yea John Deere too ,replacement parts come from. So I do'nt see where foreign tires would hurt anything,on my IH with an India water pump and Canadian hydraulic pump.I'd buy them..

Yep unfortunately the american brand tractors now-a-days are the same as the tires, made some where else. That's why I like old iron. There are a few models of american brand tractors made in america, but almost all of the smaller to mid size tractors are made somewhere else.

I got a price on some 13.6-38 at my local Farm Bureau. They were about $100 each cheaper than the other guys. They were BF Goodrich. I haven't bought those yet. But, I did buy the fronts from the same manufactor. Guess what? They aren't made in America. So, don't think by getting name brand you are getting American made.

I bought a pair if B F Goodrich a couple of years ago They have the 45 degree tread and they're made in Poland.

Dunno bout 'cheap'...but Tucker Tire sells Imported tires for reasonable prices on eBay and direct...They are sturdy enough for me to brush-hog, snake logs, and ride on the road to and from jobs and fields...They also have shown no gouging from my double ring chains that I use for plowing snow here in Vermont...

Have seen them at tractor shows. The ones I've seen were from India. From what I've been told, they hold air about as well as Swiss cheese.

Personally, I buy the brand names.

Had a neighbor bought some of these tires for his 4020. He had alot of trouble with them. Ended up taking them off and buying name brand tires. He was using this tractor for farming, mabe in your use they would work.
