This has been an interesting running commentary on why I gave up posting here some time ago. I still like to read some of the banter but... However, this one had everthing: yuppies, Red Guys, Green Guys, lawyers, you name it! All rolled together the discourse has reminded me why I stopped 'talking' here. One post may have summed up the reason for this squabbling stating something to the effect that '...they [your tractors] are all big toys...' Maybe that's the problem in a nutshell, too many toy owners and not enough working tractor stiffs... My last two cents...

You gave up posting like the alcoholic who gave up drinking ... other than that pint he gulped down yesterday afternoon at work. If you gave it up then you gotta give it up, you are now back to square one again. Tomorrow at this time you can say you haven't posted anything here for 24 hours. You really shoulda known better. And, I think you are exaggerating anyways, 99% of the posts are properly done and on topic I'd say. Better not respond to this because remember, you gave up posting this morning.

Mr. I can't post my name,

I am not Woody but I agree with Him, I too, was not going to comment again on this issue untill reading your post. This thread is a waste of space, yourself, the Cub lawyer, Burrhead and a few others should be ashamed. The original "Aucion people" posting was questionable but stayed in bounds. These guys took a legitimate issue and twisted it around and ruined it. It had nothing to do with any two colors of tractor, tractor pulling or yuppies. It was just a problem with a parts deal, could have been for any color.

I have never dealt with either of these guys, and this is how I see it. Flying Farmall seems to have been around a while and Farmallsallover or somebody using his E-mail has used several different names, (the biggest reason I noticed is because I am from MN.) I tend to think that could reflect upon one's reputation. Farmallsallover also has a tendency to use the Farmall forum for classified ads.

Both sides have posted their stories, I am ready to call it settled.

I use one name everywhere I post so if you see a posting by Wheels somewhere you probabaly will realize it is not of much value, but I am not scared to look like the fool I may be.

Good Night

Wheels

Lawyer, the fact that you turned this into a green vs. red thing really shows how immature you are, and further underscores my belief that just about any yahoo can pass the bar exam. By the way, the other side of the story is posted on the farmall board.

Mr.club house lawyer,Never once did say anything about green or red tractors,You JD guys always have to bring that up don't you?No he didn'"smoke"me at a pull either,I don't pull anywhere near him.I did see his tractors though, and I wouldn't be too worried anyways.I was just trying to do everyone a favor and let them know what kind of an experience I had and let them judge for themselves before they do any business with the guy.And my parts were nice,I sure wouldn't drive 250 miles to try to pawn off some junk.

The one tire is shot the other one is almost new,I wasn't selling him tires I just threw them in.The hitch does have a reinforcement piece on the bottom, witch would be easily ground off to look nice, wich I might just do yet,I ALSO FULLY EXPLAINED the hitch BEFORE I agreed upon a price,to I was told not a problem!!I'd be more than happy to post a pic,Will try to take some tommarrow, the rims ARE perfect.

HI Forum & Flyin Farmall

First I think it is a good idea to give ones opinion of others as long as it is done in the open( You know first hand , first party ) . Yes it would be nice to hear the other story, but I see nothing wrong with the Post about the trip. Hey take it from me , I'm just like Flyin Farmall try to turn the cheek and get it again. That is life and for some just try to let it go. Trusting soles we are, you call us dumm, slow or whatever , but no dummy hear just a little too trusting. Unless we start on spelling, LOL that is one area I never will get a ahead on. Put life goes on. Most of the time ( most, not all ) the kettle calls the pan black, put it in simple terms. Trusting people are trusting and not trusting are not trusting, If by chance the shoe fix wear it.

You all talk nice Maybe maybe not , I'll Gald he posted his trip!!!!!

Thanks Again Flyin Farmall !!

Punchie

P.S. Club House Laywer you can e-mail me , ???? where is yours ????

Anybody that needs a used Farmalittle part has to put up a credit card number or cash. No checks and no IOU.

Ye just don't have the good character in the Farmall community that the Kuhboder and JD fellers enjoy. Both of them still do bizness on a handshake til a Farmall man shows up.

Yep you must be a lawyer and used to talkin oughtta both sides of yer face at the same time. You see that's the big problem with our societey today. Everyone is sue happy and the moment some poor disgruntled customer says something in public which was not meant to be derrogatory, but as a fair warning to others, y'all start talking defamation or slander lawsuits. We can just see the dollar signs flashing in you attorney's eyes when you tally up your lawyer fees, damages, and court costs. It's time the world grew back up and people learned to stand on their own two feet and character. If we feel we've been wronged we have a constitutional right to freedom of speech to express our opinion. Which is all the gentleman was doing. He said absolutely nothing personally derrogatory about the man. Yessir my opinion isn't worth much, but I hate lawyers, and lawmakers (which I think are interchangeable) You are correct in the other gentlemen should post his side of the story if he chooses to. However I notice a lot of these guys in the classifieds are apparently tractor jockeys who use Kim's free service to their advantage since they are constantly selling things on this wonderful free site. Have a good day

I need to do bizness with fellers that's dumb enuff to deliver a tractor 500 miles on the credit.

Anybody that can find at least 4 people to screw like that on a tractor deal, then our country needs ye to head up it's corporate corruption investigator team.

It doesn't matter what color tractor you drive or how much money you have or where you live or what you do.

If you said you were going to buy it, you buy it.

You gave your word!!! If you give you word you stick by it, period. It's how you are measured as a man, women, or person.

Pride in one's word, and a honest handshake is the most important tradition, we've lost in this country.

Freedom of speech is also important. If there is another side of the story, let it be heard.

This is the best information site with some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable, helpful people, that I have ever interacted with. Most of you must be farmers or country folk. Let's enjoy this site the way it should be and show each other some decency, and respect.

This is more than I have conversed on any subject in the last 20 years.

"Everybody" have a good evening.

If they can hook you they will.

I believe in handshakes too, but while you have yer hand out of your pocket to shake with me just go ahead and sign the contract or count my money out.

Burrhead; I sell parts on the internet they arn't new but they allmost look that way when I am done with them. And it is work cleaning them! I do about one a month and that is cleaning them to like new and I am on number 10 in 11 months. I bet you would have a hard time working next to me for 8 Hours stripping a tractor down by hand with out impac wrenches, running a wire brush angle grinder for a couple of hours or holding a 80 lb top plate up in the air while you clean it on a drill press with a wire brush on it. Having your hands in solvent for hours at a time. This ain't yuppi work and my hands don't look like yuppi hands either. I feel I work hard for a living at home. I was a Electrical Contractor for 13 years and a Electrician for over 30 years. I also was my own Comercial Adminstrator and you don't buy that Licence like a General Contractor dose you have to be tested and 90 plus percent fail the test! So don't bunch people into groups for what they do for a living. I have been self employed for around 24+ years and since most people fail in the first maybe I'M doing something right. Mark H.
