We are looking for a mower deck and manual(s) for a 1978 18hp Ford LGT 145 garden tractor. If anyone can help or steer us in the right direction, we'd appreciate it.

I may be intrested in your deck. Can you e-mail pics to bm_sautt@yahoo.com? Where is the deck located? How much are you asking?

If it is an LGT145, it should be a 14 HP hydrostatic drive. I thought the LGT165 (16 HP) was the largest available in the '70s but I may be wrong. There is a real good Jacobsen/Ford site over at Yahoo! clubs. Somebody over there should be able to furnish further info. Manuals may be available from your New Holland dealer or try the manuals section on this page.

You may have to check with a dealer.

My after market manuals book does'nt list a Ford 145 tractor manual, it shows a Ford LGT 145 as a manure spreader.
