Could any one help us to find out if this is a demonstrator tractor. It is a 1941 A Farmall it looks like it was first painted white. The serial number is F.A.A. 50211. And would it be worth more if we paint it back white. Or could you tell us where we could find the history of this tractor? Thanks Mike and Sonja

It is not part of the white demonstrator program as was pointed out below. IH (or more likely the dealer)would paint tractors any color you wanted if you had the money.

In my opinion, painting it white would subtract from what I would be willing to pay for that tractor. Others may see it differently.

It's your tractor, paint it what ever color you like best.

The white demo's where done only in 1950. And then only in the first few months I belive. I do not belive they bring any higher price unless someone feels like they just have to have one.

No it is not. early 1950 was the only time white demonstrators were built. They were the Cub,Super A and C.
