I just wanted to pass along this story. My Prodigy Brake controller I bought in spring of 2004, bit the dust this weekend. The "Power Control" knob broke, the one that you set to adjust the voltage to the brakes for your different loads. I happened to see on their website they have a lifetime guarantee. Sure. And, I can't find my receipt from 4 years ago. So, I thought I would call their "Tech Support" line. Maybe I could get it fixed at a fair price. I explained to the Tech Support lady what happened, she said "Stop by a dealer near you and trade it for a new one". So I called a local camper dealer, and stopped after work and got one off the shelf. No Problem. Unbelieveable. Fantastic Customer Service! Thanks, Tekonsha!

Pretty good brand name I have a 2030 Mark 12 I bought in 1992, still works great. I just bought one just like it for $20.00 off of Ebay, like new for my Expedition.

I have been pleased with my Tekonsha Prodigy. Good to hear they really stand behind their products. In the long haul, companies that treat customers well, will always be successful..

Guess I should do that myself. I've owned mine for less than 6 months. Worked great at first, still works great, but about one month after I installed it the indicator light that shows you are connected to the trailer did not go out when I disconnected, and it never has.

HHmmmm...you would be taking advantage of this company, then you would sell the new replacement unit, so you would benefit and the company would be the losers, when in fact they are standing behind their product..if you were the original buyer there is no problem, what you are suggesting is not right, but I think you were just joking around...I hope so.
