I am having problems with keeping my JD 3020 gas tractor going.
It will run and come up to normal operating temperature and then run for a while and shut off.
We've replaced the coil and blown out the fuel lines.
We also recently replaced the fuel pump.
Any help on this problem would be appreciated.

Other than the main problem ( green paint ), it could be a couple of things.
If it has to cool down for a while before it will restart, it's likely a bad condensor.
If it will restart almost immediately, you may have some junk in the fuel tank that's blocking the outlet. Less likely possibilities: regulator, ignition switch, distributor cap, bad new coil.

I Have a 2010 that will just start spitting and then will stall. I took the fuel bowl off and realized that I have Junk in the tank plugging up the line. A couple of tapps with somthing metal and I would always see the crap come out .
clean the bowl and it runs fine.try maybe that might help.
