Anyone have experience with it? Or a company in MA called Specialty Restoration and refinishing that does it? Sounds like just the ticket for fast surface prep without damage to internals..

You can also try Advanced Stripping in Dracut at 978 459 7651. They will do it anyway you want. Soda, corncobs, walnut shells, sand, dry ice, sponges, or slag. You will save yourself a lot of money with whomever you choose if you do the preparation. That means take off all the wiring, electrical stuff, tin, soft grease, radiator, gauges, etc. Tape up all shaft seals with electrical tape (forget duct tape) and close engine openings with expandable rubber freeze plugs that will stay put. I am in the business but I do not do any equipment unless it is my own. If the prep is done right, there is no reason why you cannot use sand or slag.
