Is it possible to stop a crack from getting any bigger(longer)? The crack appeared from the bottom of the windsheild, and is now about 8" long,Thanks

George, you can take a small diamond drill (1/8") and "TRY" to drill a small hole at each end of the crack. If its only cracked through the top layer , only drill the top layer. Drill it just past the end of the crack. The crack will probably go all the way from the heat or pressure of drilling, but if it doesn't that will stop the crack. We have used this method on some of our experimential auto windshields with "LIMITED" success. Try to keep the drill bit cool (drill a little & stop & let cool) & go slowly. It works about 1/3 of the time. If it works fill the holes with clear epoxy. GOOD LUCK--
