I have a 2 Stage KEYSTONE air compressor which used to run a Chrysler dealer shop in the 50's..It is getting real tired, and probably could use rings..
Any one know where I could obtain rings for this? Keystone seems no longer in business or no longer in the parts biz.. Are there places that will custom make piston rings? ( Funny thing, it still pumps more air than my neighbor's cheapo 5 HP!)

So how did your re-ringing job turn out? I have an old Keystone two stage also and the huge GE 2 HP motor let lots of smoke out. I'm debating my course of action. Rebuild, replace motor, replace compressor or??
It seems to make reasonable air, but knocks like crazy so I don't know what it's life expectancy is.
What did you do about gaskets for the rebuild? What about bearings for the rods?

I rebuilt my old air compressor and bought new rings form this location. He is very helpful and friendly!! He claims he has or can make rings from 3/4" dia to 60" dia! good luck! Neal

Well the rings fit perfectly. I had fun because the compressor was given to me in a box. It was taken apart by someone who didn't know what they were doing and I had to figure out what went where! It runs great but I haven't had time to adjust everything. Neal
