If your westinghouse is a large enough model (ie industrial) there is a good chance that any compressor shop that uses jobber parts can locate a rebuild kit for you. A company called Independent Components Corp and another called Parts Service International specialize in supplying aftermarket compressor parts but they only sell to compressor companies, not end users. There is quite a long list of parts available in the ICC catalog for Westinghouse air compressors. These parts are as good as OEM in my opinion and I have never seen parts from either company fail due to poor workmanship. Often these parts are identical to OEM since they are purchased from the same manufacturers. Interestingly, all Westinghouse air compressors I have built have had poured (lead?) con rod bearings, with clearances set by shims between the rod and cap. They also had crank mounted plunger oil pumps. These units are very heavily built and last forever. If a rebuild fits your budget, they are well worth it.

I have a unit that was made by Westinghouse Air Bank and the engine on it I think is an International. Not sure. The only numbers I can find on this unit are Model 130RG1-E and a Serial # 273453

I am in need of a water pump for this unit, but don't know where to go and haven't had any luck in finding one yet. Any and all help you can provide would be great. I think this unit was built in early 1950. Only a guess for we do not have a manual on this unit. Still works great otherwise.

In finding this great sight, I,am pleased to see parts are available for Westinghouse air compressors. My question is, I had gotten a Two Stage model 2-YC from my father. It kinda sounds healthy but I really dont know. He had a Taiwan type 5 H.p. motor on it and it didnt seem to be working as I would expect for such a large pump. Can you please tell me A. on a single 30 gl or if I can tie 2 30 gl tanks together, what kind of CFM I may be able to expect and what size and RPM motor is reasonable for this pump? It,s got an 18" pulley. I really had thought this was a good sized compressor for home use. Thanks
