What brand air tools are a good value and worth buying, like impact, ratchet, drill, sander, chisel, etc.

Chicago Pneumatic, Ingersol Rand (industrial) drills the best, Aro, and I just pick up the cheap die grinders. Have fun. Otis

Paul, I've used Chicago Pneunatic tools most of my working life, without any problems that I didn't cause. I have a model 9541 C/P 1/2 " air impact that I use 5 days aweek prolly an hour a day. I got it in 1978!!! Just put oil in it when you use it , and a lttle more when your through and they last forever. Cheap die grinders are available here in L.A. for around 18.00 , so I bought several, and just leave the bit in 'em... Saw blade, wire brush. rasp etc.

1/2" impact definately the IR2131 with the molded body, straight and right angle die grinders Blue Point/ Snap-on, air ratchets IR.For painting, I've had the best luck with Binks. I've gone through many of the cheaper makes that haven't lasted for more than a month, but I've had the above for over two years, and they get used daily. I oil my tools daily, and have never laid one down without a rag underneath. They cost me quite a bit initially, but I don't expect to buy air tools for some time. Don't forget to drain the moisture from the compressor daily, or add a separater. Bill

every snap-on die grinder i've owned has cracked where air adapter screws in. I'm not gonna waste another 100 bucks. just gonna buy cheap ones and throw away.

Hi Bill: I hate to keep draining my stationary air-compressor 4hp/30gal- for example I only used it to blow up a soft tire last week, sometimes it sits there for a month. I like to take care of my tools. Please and thank you for your thoughts.

Hey Alan, for added protection against moisture, for example, when I'm painting, I use an inline separator. Snap-on makes a neat little unit ( about $40 Cnd.) that I plug in before the paint gun. Part#Ya999 Air/Water separator. It has a drain, for extended use, and if you put a swivel on it, you hardley know it's there. Hope this helps.
