I would like to assemble all the parts for a high output air system. Ihave a new offshore V4 two stage compressor and would like to mount it on a trailer with a pto drive[lots of old tractors],and a 500 gal LPG tank.Is this a good way to go? Maybe an air governer from a truckto regulate the pressure. should have lots of air for cleaning combines and sandblasting. thanks

You might find that an LPG tank is not the best choice---I wanted to use one for a above ground fuel tank---was told LP leaves some kind of oil in the tank---and you wouldn't want that in your air supply--as I didn't want to contaminate my fuel. Now if the tank is new--thats a differant story. If this is not TRUE tell me Jim in N M

There is a oil/grease like residue in LPG tanks that we would get a steamer to clean. Lots of steamer trucks in the oil field in the area. The compressor has no direction arrow or book ,can the rotation be left or right? thanks

Most times I've found the rotation is so the blades on the sheave will blow air across the compressor while operating.

Thanks for all the help guys. The pulley spoke/blades indicates the rotation is ok for a pto drive. the tank has 2in pipe fittings top and bottom so am hopefull a hour or two of steam will clean it.If I draw the air from the top would the gunk in the tankget in the air line?
