I bought an LP Ready Heater and I have not been able to use it from day one. Once it is started, the fumes/air gets so bad my eyes, and nose burn. I had it in for repair and was told to ues a bigger tank, this done nothing. Then they told me I needed a new regulator, this done nothing also. Now the warrentee is off and I don't know where to start next. The store I bought it from (Fleet Farm) will not take it back. Please E Mail me if anyone has suggestions. Thanks

I had the same problem with a couple of lp heaters from different manufacturers. The store (Menards) took them back and I ended up buying a 240 volt heater for my garage that I haven't wired for yet. I think some people are more sensitive to the fumes then others and I am definitely one of them.

DO NOT USE ONE OF THESE IN A SMALL CONFINDED AREA.
They are made to heat a large area. In a small area they will burn up all the oxygen in the air. This is what causes your eyes to burn and the flame to turn yellow.

Get on the phone to the manufacturer! Since it is a SAFETY issue, I am sure they will respond favorably. Most manufacturers of heaters are afraid of liability lawsuits.
