Sears says use 20 to 40 sieve sand but all stores in the area sell 00, 000, 01.
Idon't know what the numbers maen 00, 001, 01.

The best I've ever usedis Kids play sand---get it at any place like "Lowes" Builders Sq. Home Depot. Etc.

I have been using the silica sand also. I pour it through a 1/8 in screen before using.
