Help! I have a farmall super A that starts right up, but dies after a few minutes. If I drive it and put the slightest amount of load on, it dies. I've changed the points and condensor, coil, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, rebuilt the carb, and checked the tank and filters for dirt. Any suggestions?

please check your fuel strainer under fuel tank.
I have seen many time when things like trash, rust.
bugs etc. get inside strainer inside tank Unconect your fuel line at carb. you should get a full stream of fuel pouring through line as it takes this amount of pressure to cause carburetor to work correct. the only good way to clean strainer is to unscrew
from tank and use strong air preassure. If this does not work let me know as I have had
lots of experience with these tractors. thanks Henry

Remove the drainplug on the carb, see if the fuel drains at a constant flow,80% of all drivability problems are fuel related. My father always said, Maybe you need to relick your calf. Good luck

Thanks, it turned out to be a plugged fuelcock off the gas tank.
