I was wondering what you guys would consider the best Penetrating Fluid you have found?

This has caused quite a few debates in the back of the shop and I would like a few more opinions.

Thanks!

JCJ Try the best,Howes Lubricator in spray or Mac Tools sells it by the gallon,(a little thicker in the Mac gallon)as it doesnt evaporate, has low flammability, penetrates excellent and has a pleasant cinimon scent. Its so highly refined its no longer classed as a solvent which makes it safe to use on plastic and rubber.I even find it makes a excellent air tool oil. Try it you,ll like it! Good Luck Dieseldog!

I once had a 1940's Whitcomb switching locomotive, and ended up with diesel fuel in the crankcase.
I saved the mixture, and it works wonders on rusty, stuck parts. Wish I knew the ratio!

PB Blaster or Kroil are the two best.

I like Kano Kroil Oil. It seems to get in and help loosen tight rusted fasteners.

Was surprised to see something better than Kroil!!! Kano makes penephite too, once it and you get the part/bolt/nut moving, the graphite keeps it moving freely...amazing. I have not tried the Kano Kroil+Silicone yet, but will. I am expecting to be amazed again.

Is that Gibb's as good as they would have you believe? Mac Tools sells a product made by Howe's that works real good, and it comes in qts. and gallons instead of spray cans.

If you can stand the smell, try regular carburator cleaner. It's the best on the market for cutting rust. A friend of mine runs a small engine shop and keeps the cleaner in a regular oil can. It's the best!
