Is anyone doing a restoration on Cat D2 & D4, that would like to swap hints or tips. I have a couple tractors to do complete restoration projects and hope to take most the best available course of action.

Lets talk

Chappy

I'm in the process of restoring a D2. I was wondering if you would be able to tell me were the drain plug for the pony motor is? I have been all over it and I just can't find one. I want to thank you for any help you might be able to give me.

Hi I have a 1939 D4. I seem to have trouble finding parts for it besides the local used stuff. Would you know any company or yard that deals in parts for old D4s. It seems like all I run across they allhave bad starting motors as mine does. If you know of any parts new or used for one please let me know. Also any information on any kind of conversion to direct start or another motor hook up. Thank you!
