What brand of paint gun do you use? Is it gravity flow? What would you buy, if you were to up-grade?

I use a Craftsman pressure feed gun. Works fine but kinda tough to clean up afterward. If I were to upgrade would probably look at HVLP, or airless spray if I had the $$$.

Bob, I agree with you on the clean up Craftsman, that is what I used to paint my uncles 8N Ford with. I'am going to test some differant brands of guns, that is why this survey. Was hopeing for more response so as to have a better idea of what to try. I like the concept of the HVLP type guns.

Lyle, I have used a Binks No.7 gun for the past 20 years here at the school ag shop. Painted several tractors with it and have had very little problems. Almost Student proof. It is the same gun Binks has made for the past 60 years. The gravity flow guns are great, but for dependability and reliablity, it is hard to beat the Binks. Moye

Yep, the Binks guns are very good. I used a Model 62 and it works great. The HVLP gun will cost me over $400, so I don't see an upgrade in the near future.

DeVilbis...JGA, TGA, MGB. They'll last forever. If any were stolen, I would try to find replacements on the used market. I don't think they are made anymore. Try to find a good one on e-bay.
