I have a 1968 International 504 set up as a 2504 with the large high reach loader. This tractor is powerful, economical and reliable. I am looking for accessories, PTO and 3point, if you hear of anyone having parts or a parts tractor please pass on my name.

I had a 504 utility for a few years and it was a good tractor for mowing and utility work and for a loader. However, the gas models didn't have enough power to pull much. We had to sell it becuase we couldn't pull a baler and a full load of hay at the same time. A great tractor for pulling small wagons or mowing the yard etc...

M.Denny,

The 504 has 45.99 hp at the PTO and 40.3 hp at the drawbar(188 cid deisel). They were produced for 1961-1968. I do not own a 504, but I do own a 340. They are simalar. I really like the 340 for working. It has remote hydrolics that allows me to run a log splitter. It has down power which is very helpful. It is a very sound tractor. I was recently going to sell it, but I can't find anything I like to replace it with.

You can go to www.tractortips.com to get more info on the 504.

Good Luck
