Archives didn't give me any help, so , Does anyone know who handles Thorsen tools or how to deal with the life time warranty for them? I understand the original Thorsen went under and was bought out by someone who still uses the name. I can't locate a dealer or a website or even an address. Thanks for any help
Steve

Steve --

To the best of my knowledge, today's Thorsen only imports tools but they will replace old Thorsen tools, either domestic or imported, with today's product. The address I have is: G C Thorsen, 1801 Morgan Street, Rockford, Ill 61102-2675, telephone (815) 968-9661. I haven't seen any new Thorsen tools in a few years in my part of California, but the last batch I did see looked to be well-made Taiwan-ese tools. I expect the quality to be right up there with the older tools, if not better. And let's face it, a working tool is going to be worth more to a tool user than a non-working tool is. Do post back and let us know what happens. John

Thorsen is now owned by Olympia Tools, and can be reached at 800 888-8782, they are in City of Industry CA. Dont expect to find the same USA made items you have now. They are made offshore.

I farm, and earlier in my careerI remember seeing Thorsen tools anywhere. I now have a broken ratchet wrench with apparently nowhere to send it to for warranty replacement. I would love an address, ph. number, or even email address of anyone that may be able to help.

I remember as a kid growing up in a small town in western KY my father owned a Ford tractor dealership in which we sold Thorsen tools. I had not thought of them in years. If anyone knows where I could find some to collect please let me know. Thanks.
